University of Sydney

The University of Sydney engaged StratWest staff to provide stakeholder analysis and political advice for its landholdings in the Aerotropolis precinct and design an engagement plan to support its Parramatta campus.
Key deliverables
  • Presented a coherent development vision for the university’s land bank in South-West Sydney and around the Aerotropolis.
  • Analysed the local prevailing political and regulatory environment to best position the University.
  • Researched and identified a priority stakeholder list to align with its external engagement objectives, including data mining alumni records.
  • Provided stakeholder analysis and recommendations on how best to engage that list, including event and memberships review.
  • Reviewed previous stakeholder analysis work to better understand any issues, and cross- referenced this list with its existing external strategies.
  • Gained NSW Government support for the proposed timing to deliver a new campus in the North Parramatta heritage precinct.
