Head of Institutional Banking and former NSW Premier, Mike Baird, asked us to work with NAB to inform a Board strategy to address emerging growth markets, using GWS as a model.
Key deliverables
- Convened meetings of NAB business units to help deliver the strategic review of products, branch network, and internal engagement structures.
- Researched and analysed population data, regional economic trends, and community attitudes to provide NAB with intelligence to guide its investment.
- Gave direct advice and intervention on political, media, or community issues impacting NAB.
- Developed a comprehensive engagement framework to inform NAB’s market entry strategy for Greater Western Sydney.
- Delivered market intel, transfer of IP, commercial introductions, and local knowledge.
- Melbourne-based NAB was eventually announced as the anchor tenant at Walker Corp’s ‘Parramatta Square’, locating 3,000 staff in the new offices.
